ISCOF Bayanihan gives PPEs to Dumangas, Barotac Nuevo

The Iloilo State College of Fisheries (ISCOF) System Bayanihan initiative, through its ISCOF CARES project gave away 30 complete sets of PPEs to Ramon D. Duremdes Hospital and an additional 25 PPEs, 30 face shields, and 25 face masks to Barotac Nuevo’s Don Jose Sustiguer Monfort Memorial Medical Center on April 8.

The donation to Barotac Nuevo hospital is a sequel to an initial donation the day prior.

ISCOF CARES, conceived in the wake of the COVID-19 virus outbreak in the country targets to produce 5000 complete gears comprised of hood, gown, apron, shoe cover, and face shield.

The gears produced by faculty and staff members of ISCOF’s give campuses, with Main Campus at Tiwi, Barotac Nuevo as operation headquarter.

The operation is funded by cash and materials donations from leaders in the city and provincial governments of Iloilo, and from the faculty and staff of ISCOF and their family and friends.
